What: Let Graham take you on a journey far back in time and deep underground as we explore the unique geology and hydrogeology of the area we now call the Pine Street Barge Canal in Burlington. Dr. Bradley’s dynamic presentation will first take us through the formation of the geological underpinnings of this part of the The Burlington Waterfront. He will help us understand the interaction of rock, sediment, and water, and how industrial development influenced both the subsurface and the landscape we see today. Questions and discussion following. Light refreshments will be served.
